ANOTHER policeman was added to the list of COVID-19 fatalities in the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Based on data from the PNP Health Service (PNP-HS), a 38-year-old police staff sergeant assigned in Jaen Municipal Police Station in Nueva Ecija succumbed from the effects of the dreaded disease.
This latest fatality brings to 126 the number of COVID-19 deaths in the PNP.
Meanwhile, the number of personnel who recovered from COVID-19 today was higher compared to the number of new cases recorded in the PNP yesterday.
The number of recoveries today reached a total of 503 cases while 323 were new cases.
At present, there are 3,615 active COVID-19 cases in the ranks of the PNP.
