A SUSPECTED pusher will end up behind bars after more than P2 million worth of shabu were confiscated from him after being arrested in a buy-bust operation in Caloocan City the other night.
The suspect was identified by Caloocan City police chief Col. Samuel Mina Jr. as Nasser Kamensa, 23 years old, from Phase 6 Package 2, Brgy., 178, Camarin.
In a report by Col. Mina to Northern Police District (NPD) Director PBGen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., operatives from the Caloocan Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) received information from a confidential informant that Kamensa was supposedly selling shabu in the area
The SDEU operatives immediately conducted a one-week surveillance operation in the area.
After the surveillance reports turned out positive that the suspect was indeed selling illegal drugs, the SDEU operatives led by P/Major Deo Cabildo immediately mounted a buy-bust operation at the North Elementary Road, Brgy., 178 at around 6:50 pm. One cop acted as poseur-buyer and managed to buy P40,000 worth of shabu from the suspect.
After receiving the marked money from the poseur-buyer in exchange of one medium transparent plastic sachet that supposedly contains shabu, the suspect was immediately grabbed by the operatives.
Confiscated from the suspect was as estimated 150 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P1,020,000, buy-bust money with one genuine P1,000 bill and 39 pieces of P1,000 boodle money and pouch.
The suspect is now facing charges of violating RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
