THE agriculture sector in the town of Dinalupihan in Bataan continues to grow through the use of modern farming technology.
According to Dinalupihan Mayor Maria Angela Garcia, one of the objectives of the 1Bataan Agri Inno Tech Center (1BAITC) is the establishment of partnerships between the market and 1Bataan Farmers.
She said that through Precision Farming using Drip Fertigation technology, it was shown to the market the quality of harvested fruits and vegetables; the prosperous harvest per hectare that yields four times the harvest using traditional farming; and more than that is the heart of the program: “Ang Kabayanihan at Dedikasyon sa Modernong Agrikultura ng ating mga 1Bataan Farmers.”
The mayor also thanked zagana.com for giving importance to the farmers, to its “farm-to-kitchen advocacy” to enable fresh vegetables and fruits reach the dining table of every home straight from the farm.
