BALAK ng Metropolitan Manila Develpoment Authority (MMDA) na magsama ng mga tauhan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa pagsasagawa ng anti-colorum operations upang maiwasan ang nangyaring insidente ng pamamaril sa isang traffic enforcer sa Muntinlupa noong Miyerkules.
“We will have a close coordination with PNP-HPG so that during anti-colorum operations, our personnel will be accompanied by policemen for their safety and protection,” ani MMDA Chairman Atty.Don Artes.
Sa ibinigay na update ni Artes, kasalukuyang inoobserbahan pa ang biktima sa ospital.
“He has been transferred to a private hospital, upon the request of his family, and is now recovering. He will need three to five days of observation before he can be discharged. The assailant is currently in police custody, with inquest done last night, and is awaiting the prosecutor’s resolution so that he can be formally charged with frustrated murder,” sabi ni Artes.
Matatndaan nangyari ang insidente umaga ng Nobyembre 26 sa Filinvest Exit, Barangay Ayala-Alabang, na batay sa ulat ng Southern Police District, pinahinto ng traffic enforcer ang van, nakiusap ang driver na ibababa muna ang 2 matandang pasahero.
Pumayag ang traffic enforcer at pansamantalang sumakay sa van, at may-maya ay naglabas ng baril ang driver na nauwi sa agawan hanggang sa pumutok na tumama sa hita ng traffic enforcer.
Dahil sa pangyayari, posibleng isampa laban sa suspek ang frustrated homicide na hawak na ng pulisya, maging ang narekober na kalibre .45 baril.
