Rep. Jay Khonghun celebrates birthday with Children with Cerebral Palsy, brings joy to over 200 participants

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT ZONE — Over 200 individuals, including 44 children and individuals with cerebral palsy, were treated to a heartwarming Thanksgiving celebration hosted by Zambales First District Representative Jay Khonghun in celebration of his birthday at Shakey’s Moonbay Marina.

In a heartfelt gesture of compassion and gratitude, Rep. Khonghun was joined by Quezon City Councilor and actress Aiko Melendez, his daughter Martina Jickain, and Olongapo City Councilor Jamiel Khonghun Escalona. Together, they brought smiles, fun, and meaningful support to the children and their families.

The guests included members of the Olongapo Cerebral Palsy Society and the Special Kids Therapy Group, whose parents expressed deep gratitude for Khonghun’s consistent support. The congressman has been known for extending medical aid, including regular check-ups, therapy sessions, medicines, and financial assistance to children with special needs.

The event served not only as a birthday celebration, but also as a reminder of the importance of inclusive care and the continuous efforts to uplift the lives of children with disabilities and their families.
