Postal service workers urged to join the Independence Day festivities

AS part of the celebration of the 127th anniversary of Independence Day of the Philippines, all postal service employees nationwide are encouraged by the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) to join and participate in activities being held this year.

At Rizal Park, PHLPost installed a Postal ID Booth to quickly obtain and meet the needs of the public and government employees to have the opportunity to obtain its services.

PHLPost also participated in the “Government Programs and Services” from 10-11 June 2025 at Rizal Park in Manila.

The PHL Post Booth in Rizal Park offered Postal ID applications and other PHLPost services to the public such as the Postal ID application fee which is P550 inclusive of tax and delivery fee for regular issuances.

I join PHLPost in extending my warm greetings and call for solidarity in the 127th anniversary of the proclamation of our country’s independence,” said Postmaster General Luis Carlos.

During the celebration, the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) requested PHLPost to deploy one hundred employees who will attend the Independence Day Parade wearing official Kalayaan 2025 shirts in front of the Quirino Grandstand.

Several government agencies also extended their services as part of the celebration.

PHLPost rose in the Philippines’ ranking from 4th to 5th in the global postal index under Carlos’ leadership.
