SAN Miguel Corporation (SMC), through its subsidiary SMC Infrastructure, has announced that it will waive toll fees on all expressways it operates during Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Motorists using SMC’s expressways—including the Skyway System, NAIA Expressway (NAIAX), South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), STAR Tollway, and Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX)—can enjoy toll-free travel from 10 PM on December 24 until 6 AM on December 25, and again from 10 PM on December 31 to 6 AM on January 1, 2025.
The initiative is part of SMC’s commitment to spreading holiday cheer and easing the travel experience for Filipinos during the festive season. By waiving toll fees during peak holiday hours, the company hopes to support family reunions and celebrations across the country.
In a statement, SMC emphasized its dedication to providing meaningful assistance to motorists, particularly during special occasions when road travel significantly increases.
