STICK to the Fun is the new mantra for skin care product Hello Glow after it officially launched the newest addition to their sun care portfolio, the Hello Glow Sun Care Stick SPF 60+ PA++ (P395).
Referred to as the #SPFSuperstar, this new product innovation has the highest SPF rating among stick format sunscreens in the market. And just as sun care and skin care now go hand-in-hand, it’s boosted with luxurious and nourishing active ingredients, too.
Hello Glow’s launch party entitled “Stick to the Fun” was held recently at the Island in BGC. Hosted by Aiyana Perlas, the launch party featured a beauty talk featuring well-loved Youtuber and skincare influencer Jan Angelo and board-certified dermatologist Dr. Jaja Lao-Ang. Brand founder Denice Sy joined the two as they discussed Hello Glow’s newest Sun Care Stick, and expounded on sun care trivia and debunked a few skin care myths.

What impressed Jan most about the product was the four UV filters present in the formula that further solidified its SPF strength, namely, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Zinc Oxide,
Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate. He loves the presence of Cica among the active skin-care
ingredients, too, which guarantees “that the product is soothing” and suitable for those with acne-prone
and oily skin like Jan.
Dr. Jaja also conducted a live demonstration on how to re-apply the Hello Glow Sun Care Stick over her makeup on stage. The sunscreen stick effectively blotted and mattified her skin, and seamlessly glided over her face without messing her makeup. Host Aiyana then exclaimed how there was barely any transfer on the sunscreen stick afterwards, too. Jan mentioned that Hello Glow’s Sun Care Stick is lipid-based that prevents bacterial growth so “no need to worry about it being unhygienic.” However, when applying over make-up, it doesn’t harm to wipe it after every use.
In line with making skincare enjoyable, Denice said, “We wanted sunscreen to be fun and something we
can be consistent with. So the more often you use it throughout the day, the better.” Dr. Jaja agreed that
people should “stick to the fun” when it comes to their sun care choices because you should want to
wear it daily. As a final word of advice, Dr. Jaja recommends using a traditional liquid sunscreen as base,
and then layering the Hello Glow Sun Care Stick over for maximum protection.

Before the Hello Glow Sun Care Stick launch, Hello Glow already has a best-in-class range of superior
sun care products, such as their O.G. 3-in-1 Lightweight Sun Care Gel which has a watery formula, to the
Anti-Pollution Tinted Sunscreen which utilizes tone-adapt technology, to their Ultralight ++ Sunscreen,
which has a serum-gel consistency, as well as their early summer release, the Sun Care Lip Balm with SPF
20! All of these can be used together with the Hello Glow Sun Care Stick SPF 60+ PA++ for ultimate
sun protection.
