JRU back in the NCAA women’s volleyball Final Four

AFTER a long wait, the Jose Rizal University (JRU) Lady Bombers is back in the Final Four of the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament.

The Lady Bombers bamboozled the Lyceum Lady Pirates in five gruelling sets, thanks to the able leadership of graduating student Dolly Versoza, who helped JRU smash their way to the Final Four with 11 points, including 10 attacks and one block.

The Lady Bombers effectively foiled what could have been a first-ever Final Four trip for the Lady Pirates to the Final Four.

Thus, JRU will definitely be crawling its way during the stepladder phase where it will be in a tug-of-war with the San Sebastian Lady Stags and the Arellano University Lady Chiefs for the right to face in the finals the already-in-waiting College of St. Benilde, who blazed their way straight to the finals stage as it went undefeated during the elimination round.

The stepladder phase will start on Friday, July 15, 2022 where JRU meets San Sebastian.
