THE Philippine National Police (PNP) said that areas in the country that are under granular lockdown because of COVID-19 has decreased further.
According to the PNP Command Center, the number of areas under granular lockdown went down to 708 from the previous more than 800 areas.
Cordillera region has the most number of areas under granular lockdown with 404, followed by Ilocos with 198 and Cagayan with 84.
Meanwhile, the PNP said that almost 1,306 individuals have been affected by the granular lockdown in the country.
However, PNP personnel and force multipliers are still deployed to ensure that health protocols are strictly followed in affected areas.
