JaMill explains reason behind their YouTube channel’s shutdown

SOCIAL [p;edia influencers Jayzam Manabat and Camille Trinidad, popularly known as JaMill, revealed on Thursday that their YouTube channel has been officially deleted.

In a tweet, Trinidad confirmed that their channel will be signing off but assured that it will never happen on their relationship.

JaMill is now signing off. Pero Jayzam & camille is (infinity symbol),” Trinidad wrote.

Manabat, meanwhile, expressed his thoughts also through a tweet that says “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened (heart emoji).”

Soon after, speculations were thrown at JaMill by their subscribers, picking up puzzle pieces to form a conclusion which was eventually debunked by the two.

Some surmised that the sudden removal of the channel might be connected with the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s (BIR) announcement about social media influencers who have not been paying taxes despite their high income or those who are not duly registered. However, neither of the two was the reason of the channel’s shutdown.

Trinidad explained that it was a mutual decision for them as a couple to remove their channel which had 12.5 million followers as it will secure their relationship away from its nearing edge—preventing a past incident where the couple appeared on Raffy Tulfo in Action—to resurface.

“Yes deleted na po ang channel. Di naman natin ma-pplease lahat ng tao na sabihing pa issue lang ito or what. Its about our relationship, mas pinili namin mas maging okay ang relationship namin. I hope na irespeto nalang Thank you,” she clarified.

The couple also took to Facebook to post a video which further unveils the reason behind the deletion of their channel.

Sobrang saya na-experience namin sa YouTube pero this time mas priority na namin ang relasyon naming dalawa. Gusto namin habang buhay talaga kaming nagmamahalan mga ka-igan. Share this video to spread the news, para di sila mabiktima ng fake news. Eto ang dahilan and I hope i-respeto ‘nyo kami mga ka-igan,” the post elaborated.
