6 dead, 4 critical in Pampanga road crash

A MINI passenger bus plying the San Fernando-Balanga City route reportedly collided with a tricycle before hitting a waiting shed and an electric post along the Jose Abad Santos Avenue (Olongapo-Gapan Road) in Brgy. San Isidro, Lubao, Pampanga, Sunday afternoon.

Initial reports stated that about six people were pronounced dead on arrival at the Lubao District Hospital while four others are still in critical condition.

Witnesses revealed that the bus lost its brakes that led to the crash.

Bystanders and local authorities all provided the needed assistance to help bring the victims to the hospital and in the clearing operations.

The road crash resulted to heavy traffic jam in the area.
