3 individuals abducted in Batangas

The families of the three individuals who were abducted last Saturday, November 7, in Lemery, Batangas are appealing to newly appointed Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) General Debold Sinas to help them find their loved ones.

According to one of the relatives, victims Jalal Mamailao, 28 years old, Cherry Mae Causapin, 31 and Asnor Acmad, 23, both residents of Barangay 3, Balayan City, Batangas were onboard a white Toyota van to deliver and sell merchandise in the town of Lemery and nearby Talisay and Taal.

But they never returned home at the usual time that worries the families.

Relatives and friends initially tried to contact them on cellular phones but it only keeps on ringing and were suddenly turned off.

Authorities find the van the next day at a secluded area in the vicinity of Barangay Mahabang Dailig in Lemery where victims along their merchandises were all gone, nowhere to be found.

Additional information about the place where the suspects abandoned the victims vehicle are not far from a local beach resort in Barangay Butong Taal.

But Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras in Barangay San Luis, Lemery captures the horrible event as how the victims were forcibly taken by unidentified armed assailants where Cherry Mae and Asnor transferred to another vehicle while Jalal in the other getaway vehicle.

Relatives are willing to pay an amount of cash as a reward for those who could possibly provide information as to the whereabouts of the victims.
