2 women locked up in jail for selling ‘shabu’ in Valenzuela City

Two women suspected of being involved in the illegal sale of prohibited drugs were put behind bars following their arrests in a buy-bust operation conducted in Valenzuela City.

Valenzuela City Police Chief Col. Fernando Ortega identified the suspects as Princess Armie Sciano, 35, online seller, resident of No. 29-A President Tatawid, Malabon City and Wilma Alvarez, 38 of 25 M. Irrutia St., Arkong Bato, Valenzuela City.

At around 10 p.m. Thursday, November 6, operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) led by Police LT. Robin Santos conducted a buy-bust operation on F. Valenzuela St., Arkong Bato where a ‘poseur buyer’ was able to transact P500 worth of illegal drugs to the suspects.

Moments after receiving the money, they were immediately grabbed by the operating team.

Confiscated from the suspects were 4 grams of shabu valued at P27,200 and other drug paraphernalia.

Sciano and Alvarez are now facing charges in violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
