A TOTAL of 13,812 recoveries were recorded today by the Department of Health (DO), another day of a high recovery rate.
According to the DOH COVID-19 Case Bulletin 405, there are now 860,412 people who have recovered from the disease.
However, new COVID-19 cases have reached 8,719 today, to bring up the total number of cases to a 979,740 total, while an additional 159 people died for a 16,529 count.
Active cases are pegged at a lower 102,799 total, slightly below yesterday’s 107,988 count.
Also, one laboratory was unable to operate last April 21 while Six laboratories failed to submit data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS.)
