The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced the 10 official entries to the 46th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year’s MMFF is digital in partnership with Upstream and GMovies.
The following are the entries made it to the official list:
1. “Coming Home” by Adolfo Alix, Jr.
Starring Jinggoy Estrada, Sylvia Sanchez, Martin del Rosario, Edgar Allan Guzman,Vin Abrenica, Shaira Diaz, Jake Ejercito, Julian Estrada, Smokey Manaloto, Samantha Lopez, Almira Muhlach, Alvin Anson, Luis Hontiveros, Chanel Morales, Jana Agoncillo, Geneva Cruz, Ara Arida.
2. “Fan Girl” by Antoinette Jadaone
From the Tokyo International Film Festival to the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, Fan Girl is finally coming home to the Philippines on Christmas Day. Starring Charlie Dizon and Paulo Avelino.
3. “Isa Pang Bahaghari” by Joel Lamangan

9. “The Boy Foretold by the Stars” by Dolly Dulu
First Filipino BL movie, The Boy Foretold By The Stars, a romantic comedy movie about two senior high school boys, who, through the help of a fortune teller, find each other at an optional school retreat called Journey with the Lord. 10. “The Missing” by Easy Ferrer
