FOR those going out this weekend and may have to traverse EDSA, better look for alternative routes.
It is because the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road reblocking and repairs starting 11 pm tonight, March 4, until March 7.
Affected areas are mostly along EDSA in the following locations:
- EDSA- Caloocan Southbound after Benin St., (5th lane from sidewalk)
- EDSA- Northbound Quezon City along EDSA near Quirino Highway Exit
- EDSA- Northbound Makati City EDSA Northbound bus lane (KM 27 + 436 to KM 26)
- EDSA- Northbound Quezon City Whiteplains to Gate 4 (3rd lane from sidewalk)
- EDSA Quezon City after Boni Serrano Flyover to before P. Tuazon flyover & service road (3rd lane from sidewalk) after P. Tuazon flyover- Cubao Farmers main road beside steel railings & service road (intermittent section)
- Visayas Avenue (Northbound) fronting Jollibee corner Central Avenue (outer lane)
The DPWH expect to finish reblocking works and make the roads mentioned above passable by 5 am on Monday, March 7.
