Wanted for murder nabbed in Malabon

A DELIVERY rider wanted for murder was nabbed by authorities in a manhunt operation in Malabon City the other night.

The suspect was identified by Malabon police chief Col. Albert Barot as Jomael Pagyunan, 42 years old, a delivery rider and a resident of No. 45 Doña Ata, Constantino St. Brgy. Baritan.

According to Col. Barot, operatives of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) under PLt. Joseph Alcazar received information from their informant that the accused was seen in Brgy. Concepcion.

The WSS then formed a team led by PSMSgt. Armando Isidro, together with the 4th MFC RMFB NCRPO under PMaj. Ronilo Aquino, and conducted the joint manhunt operation that led to the arrest of Pagyunan at Gov. Pascual Ave., Brgy. Concepcion around 9:45 p.m.

PLt. Alcazar said Pagyunan was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Josie Rodil, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 293, Malabon City for the crime of Murder.
