Top 1 Most Wanted Person in Metro Manila, nabbed in Aklan

Elements from the Anti-Terrorism Task Group (ATTG) Regional Intelligence Division (RID)-Regional Special Operations Group (RSOG) of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) with the coordination from the Police Regional Office 6 has successfully arrested the top 1 most wanted criminal in Metro Manila.

21-year-old Jimwell Abarra, a caretaker of a fishpond, was accosted by authorities while in his work at Barangay Jalas, New Washington in Aklan around 7 p.m. of November 3.

In a belated report, Abarra was positively identified through intensified surveillance, collaboration and lateral coordination with different law enforcement units in PRO-6 that resulted in the arrest of the suspect under the “Coplan Pagtugis”.

Abarra, a resident of Barangay 998, Sitio Puso, Sta Ana, Manila, has a standing warrant of arrest issued by National Judicial Region, Branch 12, Manila NCR Judge Renato Z. Enciso, for the crime of Murder, with no bail recommended.

It was learned that Abarra, was the third top most wanted person to be arrested in regional level by the NCRPO.

Just recently, the 2nd quarter Regional Top 1 Most Wanted Person of Metro Manila, Prelan Grama was nabbed  in Leyte while another Top 1 Most Wanted Person for 3rd quarter, Francisco Torion was apprehended in Butuan City.

“With the NCRPO’s Coplan Pagtugis, tracker teams were created to monitor and conduct surveillance against most wanted persons all over the country. That is the very reason why we are able to apprehend accused persons wherever they hide. The three consecutive arrests of Top1 Most Wanted Persons of our region reflects the effectiveness of our plotted strategies and dedication of our operatives,” Police Major Gen. Debold Sinas stressed.
