Newly designated Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) General Debold Sinas on Wednesday assured there will be no major reshuffle among its senior officials in the near future.
Sinas said he will only fill the vacant position, nothing of any major reorganization in the police force will happen.
“I don’t think there will be a major reshuffle. If what positions might be in vacancy, I would fill it, there are more senior officials that may retire in several weeks or months, supposedly if one will step to a higher position it would be automatically affects the entire force.
Sinas stressed that he is the chief PNP so he must treat his senior officials equally.
Meanwhile, Sinas appealed to his critics to move on and forget about the controversial Mananita because the complaint was already been filed with the Taguig Prosecutors Office while the administrative case still pending at the PNP-Internal Affairs Service (IAS).
It will be recalled that Sinas became controversial when he held his so-called Mañanita in May this year at the height of the government enforced Enhanced Community Quarantine or ECQ due to the pandemic.
