Sen. Go urges Bulakenyos to avail of Malasakit Center benefits

Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go encouraged the people of Bulacan to avail of the benefits provided by the “Malasakit Center” located in Bulacan Medical Center in Malolos City and Rogaciano Medical Center in Sta. Maria in the province.

This was the declaration of Sen. Go as he led relief activities to 1,431 typhoon victims in Norzagaray and Pandi in Bulacan province. He also handed out cash assistance to the families who were affected by the recent typhoons.

The senator distributed food packs and cash to all families affected by typhoon Ulysses in Norzagaray and in Pandi. He was accompanied by local officials headed by Governor Daniel Fernando, Vice Governor Willy Alvarado, Pandi Mayor Enrico Roque and Norzagaray Mayor Alfredo Germar.

Go’s team visited first the typhoon victims in Norzagaray at the Jesus Is Lord Church Camp Valley in Barangay Partida. They then proceeded to Pandi Residence 3 in Pandi town wherein 640 families received the same assistance.

Go’s team includes personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which provided “Pangkabuhayan packages,” National Housing Authority (NHA) and the Department of Agriculture (DA).

The senator also distributed face masks, face shields, bicycles, vitamins and tablets, and strictly implemented the necessary health protocols to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

Kayo po ang aming inspirasyon, kayo po ang naglagay sa amin sa posisyong ito kaya naman sa abot ng aming makakaya tutulong kami ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, ibabalik namin sa inyo ang tunay na serbisyo. Alam niyo po, kami ang dapat magpasalamat sa inyo sa pagkakataon na ibinigay ninyo upang matulungan at mapaglingkuran namin kayo,” Go said.

Gov. Fernando expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President Duterte and Go’s team for the support and helping the province of Bulacan.

The other towns were Calumpit, Marilao, Bocaue, Meycauayan City, Bustos and Plaridel.
