NO less than the presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio has confirmed that she has flown to Singapore.
Duterte-Carpio arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 from Davao on board a Philippine Airlines flight around 9 am on Tuesday, and boarded a Singapore Airlines flight together with one of her children, a nanny and a member of the Presidential Security Group, five hours later.
In a statement, the presidential daughter said that she went to Singapore for “personal health management,” adding that her absence from April 6 to 10, 2021, is covered by a travel authority issued by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
“I have a travel authority to Singapore from the DILG. The reason is personal health management. All protocols for return to Davao City, including RT-PCR [COVID-19] testing and 14-day quarantine, have all been pre-arranged. Thank you,” she said.
Back in September 2020, Mayor Duterte also filed for a week-long leave from September 28 to October 5 for health reasons.
