Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Police Brig. General Ronnie Montejo announced the arrest of No. 2 Most Wanted Person of Fairview Police Station (PS 5) and his companion during a buy-bust operation today, September 15, 2020, in Barangay Sta. Lucia in Quezon City.
The suspects were identified as Edwin David Jr, 28, of Brgy. Sta. Lucia, and Melvin Congayao, 23, of Brgy. North Fairview. David is Top 2 of Most Wanted Person of Police Station 5.
Report showed that Police Station 5 headed by Police Lt. Col. Melchor Rosales received information regarding the illegal drug activities of the suspects.
A buy-bust was set at about 12:30 AM, September 15, 2020, along Visayas Street in Brgy. Sta Lucia. A police acted as poseur buyer and bought Php500.00 worth of shabu from the suspects.
At the given pre-arranged signal, they were arrested.
Confiscated were seven (7) sachets of shabu valued at Php68,000.00, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.
