Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte recently met with representatives of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to discuss the integration of the QCitizen ID with the national government’s Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).
Through the PSA’s eVerify platform, identity verification for QCitizen ID holders will be more efficient, utilizing advanced features such as facial recognition and fingerprint scanning.
The integration offers several key benefits, including:
- Faster and more streamlined delivery of public services.
- Reduction of identity theft risks.
- Enhanced security and data integrity of the program.
