Pre-emptive evacuations implemented in Quezon City ahead of Super Typhoon ‘Pepito’

AS Super Typhoon Pepito approaches, the Quezon City government has initiated pre-emptive evacuations in several flood-prone barangays to ensure the safety of residents.

In an advisory issued Saturday, officials identified specific areas in the city that are at high risk of flooding and urged residents to evacuate ahead of the storm’s impact.

The affected barangays include:
District 1

Masambong

Del Monte

Sto. Domingo

Talayan

Damayan

Mariblo

District 2

Bagong Silangan

District 4

Tatalon

Damayang Lagi

Roxas

District 6

Apolonio Samson

The local government also called on other flood-prone barangays to proactively implement evacuations to prevent casualties. Residents are encouraged to cooperate with evacuation efforts and stay tuned to updates from local authorities as the typhoon approaches.
