THE International Standardization Organization or ISO 9001:2015 certificate was awarded to the Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Limay for the government agency’s outstanding and high-quality level of service.
According to BOC Port of Limay District Collector Atty. William Balayo, the prestigious certification was conferred by TUV SUD Asia Pacific TUV SUD Group, an international ISO certification-giving body, because of the port’s meticulous implementation of Quality Management System in its Provision of Customer Support Services such as releasing of documents, handling of inquiries and effective payment collection.
The certification is valid for three years from April 2022 up to April 11, 2025.
Just recently, Atty. Balayo was also given a commendation for his “commendable performance” in the collection of customs duties and taxes in July of this year that reached P11.894 billion and collection surplus of up to P1.906 billion.
