A TOP Malacañang official confirmed that President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. will make a visit to the People’s Republic of China.
In a Palace press briefing, Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles said the Chief Executive accepted the invitation, although there is no exact date yet when he will visit.
Meanwhile, in relation to the meeting in Malacañang between Marcos and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, the Chinese official emphasized the further strengthening of cooperation between the Philippines and China.
The president, for his part, said that it is desire to bring to another level the bilateral ties between the two countries.
The meeting, however, did not touch on the maritime dispute between the two countries.
