More than 50,000 consumers in most of Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) and in Bulacan and National Capital Region (NCR) have still experiencing power outage after Super Typhoon “Rolly” hit the country.
According to Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi, until this noon today, Monday, November 2, a total of 53,863 Meralco consumers from the said regions remained without electricity supply.
Most of the houses still affected by the power service interruption are in Rizal province.
Meanwhile, efforts are being made to restore the line of communication and power supply throughout the province of Catanduanes, which is the most typhoon-hit areas in Bicol region.
