Notorious holdup suspect, killed in police ops in Laguna

A notorious holdupper was killed in an encounter after a follow-up operation conducted by the Regional Highway Patrol Group (RHPG) and Binan City Police at Langkiwa Service Road Barangay Langkiwa, Binan City, Laguna.

William Dagotdot Jr., 26, of 94 Barangay Langkiwa was the victim of 2-male riding in tandem suspects who stole his black motorcycle on the evening of Thursday, October 29.

According to Police Col. Geovanni Martinez, chief of Binan City Police Office, they initially conducted a follow-up operation and tracing the suspects on the possible route and at the vicinity of Barangay Sto. Tomas.

It was then where they spotted the black motorcycle without a license plate and when the police approached one of the two suspects, he immediately pulled out a gun and fired several shots at them.

The police fired back at the suspect killing him instantly while the other suspect escaped

SOCO recovered from the crime scene a 9mm pistol, 1 live ammunition and several cartridges of the said weapon.

Police are still on the hunt for the escaped suspect who fled to the direction of Barangay Sto. Tomas.
