Netizens reacted differently to a seemingly blossoming romance between young Kapuso actress Faith Da Silva and new Kapuso star, veteran actor Albert Martinez
Flaunting her sweet yet gorgeous visuals on Instagram, Da Silva has received more than a handful of different reactions from followers after a rumor sparked that she is in a relationship with Martinez.
“Mag-jowa ba kayo ni Albert Martinez?” wrote one of the users.
“Balita ko nililigawan ka ni sir Albert Martinez kht 40 yrs age gap wow ah that’s nice,” another follower expressed.
Da Silva, on Saturday uploaded a photo of herself dressed in blue with a light touch of makeup showing her glowing face. Her stunning look, however, did not take the spotlight as her followers kept on pointing out the rumored and unexpected relationship of the actress with Martinez instead.
Martinez who is 60 is working with 20-year-old Da Silva for their upcoming Kapuso series “Las Hermanas” set to premiere in September.
Public speculations then became varied as others believe the two were just building a good chemistry to promote the new series while some think the love affair has grown during the lock-in taping of the TV series.
While some of the users under the comment section of Da Silva’s post flocked to give positive responses, negative comments were still thrown at the rising star.
“Faith sana naman di totoo yun balita na may relasyon ka sa matandang aktor halos tatay mo na lang sya eh!” one follower exclaimed.
The same user left another remark under a separate post Da Silva has uploaded on August 7, emphasizing that the young artist deserves to love someone of the same age.
“Dati idol kita at hanga ako sayo sa talento mo at crush kita pero ngayon dina kasi pumatol ka daw sa isang matandang aktor, mas deserved mo po sana ang binata at kasing edad mo sayang po ang ganda mo kung mauwi ka lang sa ganun bka malosyang ka lang po agad pag ganun!” the user wrote.
Martinez is already a widower. His wife, the former child star Liezl Martinez, with whom he has three children, passed away last March 2015 due to cancer.

Despite the split reactions, the two artists remained mum about the rumor.
Martinez has, in fact, changed his Instagram account into private.
