THE Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental premiered recently its new tourism promotional video as part of its latest bid to showcase its local attractions to the world.
Provincial Tourism Officer Atty. Jeffrey Saclot presented the “Paglaum sa Turismo” (Hope in Tourism) tourism promotional video, which pays tribute to locals working in the tourism industry, to Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco during the 3rd NorthMin Dive Festival and MisOr Dive Festival Underwater Shootout.
The three-minute video rightfully acknowledged and gave due recognition to the value and importance of the province’s seemingly ordinary locals. They make no stone unturned in making sure that every moment of guests’ stay in the province are truly extraordinary, and the people’s warm welcome and hospitality will every guest’s stay unforgettable.
Whether a van driver, security guard, porter, vendor, utility worker, lifeguard, speedboat driver, motorcycle rider, food server, or gardener, the video showcases how each of these individuals contribute in their own little way to make tourists’ stay in the province a truly wonderful journey and experience.
The 3rd NorthMin Dive Festival and MisOr Dive Festival Underwater Shootout also promoted diving as an exciting and enjoyable tourism activity in Misamis Oriental and brought together scuba divers and underwater photography enthusiasts to three dive sites in the province.
