LTFRB earns perfect compliance rating in COA audit of PUV service contracting program

THE Commission on Audit (COA) has awarded the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) a 100% compliance rating following its audit of the Public Utility Vehicle Service Contracting (PUVSC) Program under the 2023 General Appropriations Act (GAA).

The audit, which reviewed the operations of the LTFRB Central Office, the Regional Franchising and Regulatory Office (RFRO) – NCR, and RFRO – CARAGA, verified full adherence to onboarding documentation requirements.

COA presented its findings during an Exit Conference on December 2, 2024, at the LTFRB Multi-Purpose Hall.

The results underscore LTFRB’s commitment to its mandate and strict compliance with regulatory standards.

This recognition highlights the LTFRB’s steadfast dedication to implementing laws, rules, and policies effectively, ensuring that the PUVSC Program delivers maximum benefits to its intended stakeholders, particularly the public transport sector.

Under the leadership of Chairperson Atty. Teofilo E. Guadiz III, the LTFRB remains committed to integrity, accountability, and excellence in public service, not only through the Service Contracting Program but across all its initiatives and regular operations.
