THE Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical, Astronomical Space Administration (PAGASA) said on Thursday that a Low Pressure Area (LPA) spotted in Batangas will bring heavy rain over large portion of Luzon.
Based on the latest data, the LPA was last seen 80 kilometers Northwest of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro or 75 kilometers Southwest of Tanauan City, Batangas.
According to the weather agency, it will continue to move west and travel across the Verde Island to the West Philippine Sea (WPS).
The chances of this weather disturbance to become a hurricane or storm remain small.
