AN employee of the local government unit of Kidapawan was arrested at the city hall for illegal drugs.
The suspect was identified as Ronaldo Esguerra alias “Bobong,” an employee of the Civil Security Unit of Kidapawan City.
According to Police Regional Office 12 (PRO-12) Regional Director PBGen. Alexander Tagum, the suspect was arrested by virtue of an arrest warrant served in the suspect’s home in Duhat Drive, Brgy. Poblacion.
Confiscated from the suspect’s house were three plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth P8,000.
Gen. Tagum said the suspect is considered a high-value target because of illegal drugs.
The suspect is now detained and is facing charges of violating RA 9165 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
