Joe Biden wins US Presidency

77-year old Democrat Joe Biden has secured enough electoral votes (270 to Donald Trump’s 214 as of this writing) and projected to become the 46th president of the United States of America, to trump incumbent President Trump and capture the White House.

“I am honored and humbled by the trust the American people have placed in me and in Vice President-elect Harris,” Biden said in a statement. “In the face of unprecedented obstacles, a record number of Americans voted. Proving once again, that democracy beats deep in the heart of America.”

Kamala Devi Harris is the Vice President-elect of the United States, also a Democrat, will assume office on January 20, 2021 with Biden.
