Illegal drugs found in toys snagged by Customs

THE Bureau of Customs (BOC) confiscated a total of almost P6.9 million worth of illegal drugs or shabu concealed inside 31 pieces of kids’ toys shipped from Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia last March 15, 2022.

The illegal drug shipment worth 1 kilo in weight first underwent physical inspection and sniffing by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) K-9 unit, the BOC says.
