Go visits typhoon-hit Laguna to distribute relief aid

LAGUNA – “Service is my habit”, this is what long-time aid of President Rodrigo Duterte now Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go made in his speech before the residents of several barangays affected by super typhoon Rolly in Calamba City, Laguna on Sunday, November 8, 2020.

Nearly 1,000 families from three barangays were provided by Go’s office with financial assistance, facemasks, face shields and not to mention, free food.

The National Housing Authority (NHA), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and several representatives from the Local Government Units (LGUs) takes lead in distributing relief aid.

The first termer senator from Davao City also donated 25 bicycles and 25 electronic tablets for students to be use in their online classes this school year and the next year.

Before Calamba City, Go first visited San Pablo City on Saturday for relief aid distribution.
