GLOBE Telecom is ramping up telco service reconnection and other relief operations in areas badly affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Odette (international name: Rai).
The telco recently restored services in the provinces of Antique, Biliran, Guimaras, and all of Samar, the latest areas in its list so that customers can make and receive calls, including sending and receiving text messages.
Globe is also providing free and unlimited GoWiFi in select malls, government offices and airports in Visayas and Mindanao affected by Typhoon Odette.

In collaboration with partners from Ayala Foundation, Inc., GMA Kapuso Foundation, and Rise Against Hunger Philippines, Globe also deployed relief operations in Cagayan de Oro, Camiguin, Dinagat Islands, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Maasin City, and Sogod, Southern Leyte.
Globe volunteers are completing the distribution of relief packs in Negros Oriental (Tanjay, Bais, Manjuyod) and Negros Occidental (Kabankalan and Bacolod City).
Donation channels through the new GlobeOne app and GCash app are still open for customers who may want to support relief operations partner organizations like Ayala Foundation Inc., GMA Kapuso Foundation, and Rise Against Hunger Philippines, and many others.
