Erap gets well, going home soon

FINALLY, former President Joseph Ejercito Estrada is going home weeks after being confined in the hospital because of infection of the deadly COVID-19 disease.

In a medical bulletin, his eldest son former Senator Jinggoy Estrada said that his dad will be discharged from the hospital any time soon.

Even after the older Estrada was cleared of the infection after taking Leronlimab, “an investigational product which is still undergoing clinical trials for the treatment of Cancer, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and COVID-19.”

Aside from Leronlimab, the older Estrada was also dosed with Remdesivir, a broad-spectrum antiviral medication.

Erap, who was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 on March 29, has been in and out of the Intensive Care Unit amid bacterial lung infection.

The former state leader tested positive for COVID-19 in March. He tested negative for the virus on April 13.
