Eight cops from the CIDG anti-organized crime unit recommended for dismissal from service

THE Philippine National Police-Internal Affairs Service (PNP-IAS) recommended to PNP Chief PGen. Dionardo Carlos to dismiss from the service eight policemen for their involvement in a robbery case in Angeles, Pampanga last January.

The policemen were formerly assigned with the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Anti-Organized Crime Unit.

According to IAS Inspector-General Atty. Alfegar Triambulo, the buy-bust operation mounted by the eight cops was illegal since their intention was to rob their victims.

Last Tuesday, the IAS submitted to the Directorate for Personnel and Records Management their recommendation.

Recommended for dismissal from service are:

Police Major Ferdinand Mendoza

Police Staff Sgt. Mark Anthony Iral

Police Staff Sgt. Sanny Ric Alicante

PCpl. John Gervic Fajardo

PCpl. Kenneth Rheiner Delfin
