President Rodrigo Duterte wishes to revisit him by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Malakanyang.
Duterte made his invitation through Ambassador Marat Ignatyevich Pavlov, the newly designated Russian ambassador to the Philippines during his courtesy call to the Palace today, Thursday, December 3, 2020.
“Once the country would overcome the pandemic next year, Putin could visit me again so we can both commemorate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our countries,” Duterte tells Pavlov.
The president has described Russia being a “good ally” with the Philippines.
Duterte also thanked Pavlov and Russia for offering its own COVID-19 vaccine, the Sputnik V and wishes to share their knowledge of vaccine production technology.
