DOH: COVID-19 still threat during Christmas season

The Department of Health (DOH) has again warned the public that there is still a threat of coronavirus disease or COVID-19 and must avoided any social gatherings during Christmas season.

According to DOH Spokesperson Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire, mass gatherings still not be allowed to prevent the spread of the infection.

Areas under the General Community Quarantine o GCQ are limited to 10 individuals while 50 individuals will be allowed in the Modified general Community Quarantine (MGCQ) area.

Vergeire emphasized that its better to just have your packed meals rather than go to a buffet with a lot of people eating at the same time.

Meanwhile, videokes will still be strictly banned after a study showed that virus infection spreads faster.
