DINALUPIHAN, Bataan – THE Municipal government of Dinalupihan led by Mayor Maria Angela S. Garcia, in partnership with USAID TB Platforms, launched Monday its free chest X-ray.
“This is part of our integrated Tuberculosis (TB) response aamid thCOVID-19 pandemic,” Mayor Garcia said.
Garcia added that the community screening will include all children enrolled in the town’s 49 daycare centers and those adults who belong to the high risk groups for TB.
There will be a scheduled community contact tracing for those who will be diagnosed of TB.
“No one will be left behind. All efforts will be to find and treat our kababayans with TB,” she stressed.
“The government will continue to provide free TB services amid the pandemic and the public is highly encouraged to share correct information about the disease especially the message that TB is infectious but it can be cured,” Garcia added.
