According to a news report, infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.
The US has the greatest number of COVID-19 cases at 6,740,257 and a death toll of 198,634 followed by India with 5,308,014 cases and 85,619 deaths; Brazil: 4,455,386 cases and 134,935 deaths; Russia: 1,097,251 cases and 19,339 deaths; Peru: 750,098 cases and 31,146 deaths.
The Philippines recorded 283,460 cases and 4,930 deaths as of Saturday.
