The number of newly confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have reached to 1,509 today, Wednesday, October 21, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
As a result, the number of COVID-19 infections in the country has now a total of 362,243.
According to DOH data, the total number of active cases of the virus is at 43,990; and 83 percent of it is ‘asymptomatic’.
To date, 911 recoveries have been recorded, or 311,506 in total.
About 60 new deaths recorded bringing to a total of 6,747.
