Comelec, Vote Pilipinas join hands to increase voter turnout on Eleksyon 2022

THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) and Vote Pilipinas launched their voter education campaign and likewise encouraged the public to be wise in choosing whom to vote for the May 9 national and local elections.

According to Vote Pilipinas founder Ces Rondario, the objective of the #BumotoKa campaign is to increase voter turnout even by just 10 percent during the elections this year.

This can be done through a series of webinars and caravans throughout the country starting February up to April 2022.

For her part, Comelec chairperson Socorro Inting reminded the public that registration will be useless if people will not go out and vote on May 9.

The Comelec expects that an estimated 67.5 million voters will participate in the May 9 polls.
