BGYO’s new single wows Filipinos

“THE BADDEST,” the comeback song of rising Ppop group BGYO, already gained 100 thousand views 4 hours after its release.

The group’s much-awaited single was released on the group’s official YouTube channel on August 20, 2021.

The group has never disappointed its supporters with their oozing talent and superb visuals, which makes viewers go crazy over them at their every performance.

Even before its release, fans already gave their overwhelming support to the boys, where they even campaigned on social media and urged other fans to stream the teaser way before its release, which was set at midnight of August 20.

Tons of theories were shared by fans on social media about the single’s music video, one of which was the supposed appearance of popular actress Liza Soberano, a hint posted on social media at 8 pm of August 20.

The official hashtag #BGYOtheBaddestCB became the number 1 trending hashtag on Twitter that night due to the massive amount of tweets from diehard fans.

The song not only conquered the hearts of Filipino fans but also those outside the country as well. The track was number one on the Philippines’ iTune charts and was also on iTunes Hongkong, Singapore, New Zealand, and Taiwan, at #15, #52, #78, and #170 just after two hours of its release.

At present, the video has already gained over 700 thousand views, with fans and viewers praising BGYO for the success of their comeback, with comments about the video’s overall artistry that’s truly representative of everything Filipino. Many said a world-class group was created, even remarking about the group’s vocal and visual quality.

P-pop is fast becoming progressively known in other countries, that it can keep pace with other international groups as well. More Filipino groups are expected to be noticed in the future and without a doubt, they will definitely make their own marks in making the Philippine music and entertainment industry a hub for world-class talent.
