IT seems that the doors of the headquarters of the BBM-Sara Uniteam of former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio will remain shut at least for another week.
Around 68 staff members were tested positive for COVID-19 after undergoing confirmatory RT-PCR testing, says a statement from the office of Marcos Jr.
The announcement came after over 30 staff tested positive for COVID-19 last Monday, which forced the closure of the team’s headquarters located in Mandaluyong City for one week.
A skeleton force working on Typhoon Odette relief operations remained at the office while the rest were sent home.
The former senator contracted the virus and is currently in isolation. Atty. Vic Rodriguez, Marcos Jr.’s spokesperson, also got the virus.
