BARANGAY Kaunlaran residents in Quezon City now have a new and improved facility designed to provide better services and promote community engagement.
This morning, Mayor Joy Belmonte and Barangay Kaunlaran Chairperson Dong Cheng led the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly constructed Barangay Kaunlaran Hall.

The four-story structure boasts modern amenities, including offices for barangay staff and officials, a session hall, multipurpose halls, and a basketball court on the fourth floor, offering a space for sports and recreational activities.
The building is also a model of sustainability, recognized as a “green building” due to its innovative daylighting architectural design, solar PV system, and energy-efficient features.

“This facility is not only a testament to progress but also a commitment to environmental responsibility. It’s a place where the community can come together and thrive,” said Mayor Belmonte during the event.
Among the notable attendees were Chief-of-Staff Rowena Macatao, City Engineer Atty. Dale Perral, District 4 Action Officer Atty. Zandy Zacate, and the Barangay Kaunlaran council, who expressed their enthusiasm for the positive impact the facility will bring to the community.

With its modern design and eco-friendly features, the new Barangay Kaunlaran Hall stands as a symbol of innovation and progress, ready to serve the needs of its growing community.
