ANOTHER 30 individuals were added to the list of Comelec gun ban violators, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).
This means there is now a total of 1,554 gun violators arrested so far.
Of all those accosted, 1,496 are civilians, 21 were security guards, 15 were police personnel and nine were soldiers.
The National Capital Region (NCR) still leads with the most number of arrested individuals, followed by Regions 7, 4A, and 6.
Meanwhile, around 1,209 firearms were already confiscated by the PNP during the gun ban.
